MSDS
Important message to our valued customers:
In the light of the implementation of REACH in Europe (please see the special REACH section on this website for further information), new safety data sheets (SDS) will be issued together with the submission of the respective registration dossiers. The updated SDS will comply with CLP (the European regulation on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, EC No. 1272/2008) and thus, GHS (The UN Globally Harmonized System of classification and labelling of chemicals, 2005).
In order to minimise administrative work-load, Elkem has decided not to update the existing MSDS before the first deadline for the submission of the registration dossiers under REACH, which is december 2010. The existing MSDS on this website reflect the current knowledge about these products and remain valid until december 2010.
Read-only versions of our HSE datasheets are available in alphabetical order sorted by product, and in several languages on the following links.
Please notice that MSDS written in a particular language always refer to the specific regulations and requirements of the corresponding country!
